Welcome visitor,

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to our site. We will strive to bring you up to date information on current legislation and local news concerning the Township of Union Police Officers. This Lodge is run by active Township of Union Police Officers and is dedicated to protecting and improving the working conditions of the men and women who risk their lives to protect ours.

Many say that being a Police Officer is a choice and that we are paid a good salary.  We believe that being a Police Officer is a calling.  When there are reports of shots fired, a man with a knife, a horrific motor vehicle accident or any other inherently dangerous occurrences, the men and women who serve and protect race to get there.  Many times the very act of speeding through traffic in all types of weather conditions puts these individuals in harms way.   We don't get paid for what we do; we get paid for what we may have to do.

The Fraternal Order of Police is the World's largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers with over 320,000 members. In New Jersey, the Fraternal Order of Police represents over 20,000 law enforcement officers. No one knows the difficulties and dangers that face law enforcement officers better than another officer and no one knows law enforcement better than the FOP.

Fraternally,

Detective Anthony Marques
President FOP Lodge 35

Final inspection

The Police Officer stood and faced God, which must always come to pass.
